Pathways Senior Care Advisors’ mission is to help our aging clients find the pathway to the best care available to meet their needs and provide them an enhanced quality of life while still promoting independence. Our goal is to offer a unique, supportive and compassionate process to help our clients and their families choose the best senior care option.
Pathways Senior Care Advisors HAVE one PRIMARY ROLE
Pathways Senior Care Advisors help families find the appropriate care for the next stage while still promoting as much independence for the client as possible. When a family is faced with having to get home care or having to place a loved one in a senior housing facility it can be a very difficult time. If your family is coping with a loved one with a progressive disease such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s or other health conditions, considering senior housing and home care agencies is not easy. Emotions of guilt, sadness, and frustration are normal. Pathways Senior Care Advisors offer experience and compassion to help you through this difficult process. We are able to take a step back and look at the overall big picture from a financial, health, and independence standpoint and share all options, that meet the individualized needs of the client.

There comes a time when a person or loved one becomes uncomfortable with living alone because of the possibilities of falling, getting sick, safety issues, forgetting to take medications, loneliness, poor nutrition, or difficulty taking care of household responsibilities. It is important to recognize these signs early and work with your loved one to determine the most appropriate senior living situation. If in home support or a caregiver is no longer effective or financially feasible, it is our job to present you with all the Bowling Green area senior housing options.

Steps To Finding Your Care Facility
After your initial contact with us, one of our senior care advisors will conduct a non-medical assessment, discuss your goals and your budget to determine the care options available.
ONLY IF you decide a senior living community.
Once you have chosen your desired location, with your permission, your information will be sent to the appropriate home care agency or the specialized senior housing facilities. After their review, appointments to meet with the home health agency or tour the facilities are arranged. If you prefer, we can provide you with the information about these providers so you can contact them to get the meeting or tour arranged. In either case, your Pathways’ Advisor will follow up with you to ensure your expectations of the home care agency or the senior housing facility were met.
